What we collect

When you join a waitlist or the updates list: your first name, your last name if you add it, your email address, and your phone number if you add one.

With each sign-up we also note the page you signed up on, the tag in the link you came from (for example ?ref=tiktok), your language, the country your connection comes from, the time, and which consent wording you agreed to.

When you send a message through the contact form: your name, your email address, your company or website if you add one, the topic you choose and your message.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run and protect the site.

Do you have to give it?

No. But without your email address we can't add you to a list, and without your name, email and message we can't reply to you. Your phone number is always optional.

How we use it

To send what you signed up for: waitlist news, your invite and launch announcements, by email, and by text if you added your phone.

To reply to your messages.

To see which videos and pages bring people to the site.

We never sell your information or give it to sponsors or brands.

Text messages

If you add your phone number, you agree to get marketing texts from Isaac Lasry LLC at that number, such as a text on launch day. How often varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing is never a condition of buying anything.

Why we're allowed to

Your consent, which you give when you sign up and can take back at any time, and, for replies, our interest in answering the message you sent us.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts the site, runs its forms and stores sign-ups and messages, and Resend sends our emails. They handle your information only to provide their services to us, under data processing agreements, and store it in the United States and the European Union. By signing up, you agree to your information being stored there.

How we protect it

Your information travels encrypted. Only Isaac can open the list, through a private page that asks for a two-step sign-in, and every download from it is recorded. Every sign-up is also backed up, so nothing is lost by mistake.

How long we keep it

Waitlist sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and no longer than 12 months after the project you joined for launches, unless you choose to stay on the list.

Messages from the contact form: up to 24 months.

Backups: our backup copies are kept for up to 12 months. When you ask us to delete your information, we remove it from the list right away, and within 30 days at the latest, and it disappears from the backups as they expire.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or take back your consent, at any time: write to info@isaaclasry.com. We answer within 30 days. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and every text can be stopped by replying STOP.

You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Your browser

The site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It saves one small note in your browser so the sign-up window doesn't keep reappearing.

We don't track you across other websites, so the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date on it.
